Tensile Design and Construct, has pulled together three internationally renowned specialists on urban greening. Come along to hear their ideas, and meet other practitioners in the field.
Geoff Heard – Fytogreen
Fytogreen is a specialist design and construct landscapers for built structures, focusing on Green Walls, Planter Boxes, Green Roofs and Green Facades. Fytogreen is working in conjunction with Tensile on the recently installed Platinum project, which at just under 1500m2, represents the largest Green Facade in Melbourne.
Warwick Savvas – ASPECT Studios
Warwick as Senior Associate at ASPECT Studios is responsible for delivering green roof, wall and façade projects, and providing technical design resolution. Warwick’s approach to projects is based on an integrated understanding of green infrastructure in urban environments and a thorough knowledge of WSUD, and living architecture (green roofs, walls and facades) from a building science, civil, structural, architectural, landscape and ecological perspective.
He has presented at national and international forums on green roofs, and is internationally regarded as an expert in this field.
Peter Bottero – Tensile
Peter is the founder of Tensile Design & Construct a specialist tensile design, engineering and construction firm. Peter has been responsible for the installation of more Green Facades in the country than any other person, heading Tensile’s One Central Park, Advanx apartments and the new Platinum Towers project on Southbank.
